Tim Pool is an American citizen journalist, political commentator, and YouTuber, best known for his live streaming of the Occupy Wall Street protests in 2011. Tim later joined Vice Media and Fusion TV in 2013 and 2014, respectively, before transitioning to working independently across platforms such as YouTube.

Timothy Daniel Pool was born on March 9, 1986, in Chicago, Illinois. He grew up on the South Side of Chicago in a lower-middle-class family.
